I may have ovulated the 16th of June. I started feeling sick and tired around the 19th, on the 23rd I had a positive in office urine test and on the night of the 26th I started spotting. I bled a bit on the 26th but that’s when I was in the er and there were plenty of dr’s ‘poking around’. I stopped completely on June 29th. The whole time it just didn’t feel like a normal period. On the 27th I took a blood test and that came back neg. Also for the past few days I have had mild cramps (unusual for me). I also have a pulling/cramping feeling on my lower left side (it feels like where my uterus is). I have also started having headaches for a few days now. They are mild and they come and go throughout the day. My question is should I assume that I am pregnant and test again soon or should I assume I’m not? Has anyone else has a similar situation and how did it turn out? any information about hcg levels and what they could be at 2wks

seems like ur egg was fertilized(hence the positive result) but then u had a 'missed abortion'.it means the egg/sperm was not healthy and it is nature's way of preventing defective births.so ur bleeding started and hcg level dropped.but i think something is still left inside(whatever size the fertilized egg became) and that's why u have cramps.it would be best to see a doctor and u might have to get a d&c done.it is a simple procedure.if not done in time,it might spread infection in ur body.
i had a similar experience and it is fairly common these days.i had little discharge not exactly red and an ultrasound revealed no growth at 8 weeks, then i had a d&c.it does not affect ur ability to conceive again.all the best!

First of all....never assume anything. I would wait a few days, and test again. If you had a pos. urine test just 7 days after ovulation, you were already pregnant...there is no way to get a pos. urine test at just one week pregnant. But, if you have had mild cramping and a neg. blood test, you might be have a miscarriage. Either way, consult your doctor asap.

You could be. Then again, if doctors were 'poking around' they must have been able to tell you either way. Sometimes, it can take time for tests to work. I wonder if you shouldn't be wondering if there might be another thing wrong with you, though - go to the doctors. Ask their advice - maybe you're ill.
