SACRILEGE!!!

Why did Brazil not get a better coach like Rijkaard, or even Scolari that would NOT have played Ronaldinho out of position.

It's been a very long time since the world has been in agreement over who is the best player in the world - Ronaldinho.

98 - Ronaldo/Zidane/Bergkamp
99 - Rivaldo/Beckham/Zidane etc
00 - Figo/Zidane
01 - Figo/Beckham
02 - Ronaldo/Rivaldo/Ballack/Kahn
03 - Zidane/Henry
04 - Ronaldinho (by a MILE)
05 - Ronaldinho (by a RECORD number of votes)

He has done a lot for club and country. At least, at Barcelona, he gets paid $, (he doesn't get insulted for not performing well, even though he gets paid a lot).

It is highly unacceptable to burn his Statue. How many other Brazillian players really played well.

PS: Zidane's not been too bad as well

When you love someone more then life and trust him/her more than god and he/she fail in your expectations then you get angry so angry that you go mad. The same thing happened to the Brazillians. They loved and trusted him so much but he failed to show his class and magic in the world cup. Even then everyone knows that Brazil is a country of football fanatics. A second position for them in the world cup is as good as the last.

Whoa- are you serious? They burned his statue? That's horrible! Ronaldiho is AWESOME, but who knows what went wrong with him during the WC, but it's not bad enough to burn a statue of him. . . .How's he going to go out in the streets now???

people are so passionate about football that theyre willing to do things like that. he should be lucky that he wasnt shot like that colombian guy a while back...this guy accidently scored a goal for the opposite team causing his team to lose and was shot when he got off the airplane back in colombia.

that's a horrible response, he's a human and he deserves to be a little less every now and then just like all of us. it's not fair to judge him like that, besides I thought he did pretty well.
