If you want to say you have read the bible on TCP/IP then you need Internetworking With TCP/IP, Volume 1, by Douglas Comer. I have met him personally, he is a distinguished computer science professor at Purdue who lives and breathes TCP/IP and networking in general. I have read 3 editions of this book and it's excellent. You couldn't learn TCP/IP from a better guy!
