I have bought a TCM stainles steel Wrist watch and there is written "Tachymeter'' and "chronograph" please let me know what does it mean .

tachymeter
A tachymeter is used as the name of a scale sometimes inscribed around the rim of an analog watch. It can be used to compute speed based on travel time.
