alot of very young children have the ability to throw and kick far as they use their arms and legs in the correct way without even knowing it. to discover if they have genuine skill check out how well he catches. it is much harder for a kid to catch a ball than throw it! you never know if he keeps practicing he could be a great sportsman , xxxx

It's not THAT unusual, but it is something that SHOULD be encouraged. It is fairly rare, but in some families, like mine, that trait seems to develop in many of the children.

In my case, I was discouraged and beaten harshly, so I never even learned to play sports. My cousin and my son developed their abilities quite well. My son would have been great, but a jealous coach discouraged him, his girlfriend cheated on him (which further discouraged him), and he started experimenting with drugs (which slowed him down). If I would have had the ability to remove him from that coach and send him to a GOOD coach, I would have done so in a heartbeat.

Since I was discoraged myself, I turned to music, and never let anyone discourage me again. God bless you, and a Special blessing from God on your son! Amen

I don't think so my sons were doing the same thing at2 their 5&6 now and it's almost unbelievable what they can do now.I guess the kids these days are A little more advance then we were.peace

Ive seen 11 year old throw 70-75

keep working with him in a few years he will be playing teeball and so forth

Nothing unusual. Just early & good synchronisation of eyes & hands than normal kid.

Probably,but don't encourage him to throw curveballs for a while until his body matures a little more.Trust me,I know.
