If you mean this as an argument for arranged marriages, the answer is it is more difficult and less socially accepted to get separated/divorced when it's arranged. Secondly, many people get married without knowing themselves so it's hard to pick a partner when one does not know who they are or what they want yet in life. In short, people are in love with the idea of being in love or are working against a time frame, thus rush into marriage before they are emotionally, mentally and financially prepared.

In an arranged marriage the bride/wife has no-one to run too if things go bad, So in most cases the wife is bound by honor of the family and accepts the fate she is given. In a LOVE MARRIAGE, the bride/wife knows if things do not go her way, she can run home to Family and file for divorce. The rights of an arranged marriage bride are somewhat clouded by tradition and the promise of the family she will be a good wife. She has no choices.

In love marriage, because partners know each other, they have high expectations from each other, which they fail to fulfil as the marriage progresses. One most common argument is 'You were not like this before marriage.". In arranged marriage, both partners start from ground zero (not knowing other), and try to adjust him/her to other's liking. If they are able to strike a balance, which they generally do, the marriage succeeds. Where they are unable to meet half way through, even arranged marriages fail.
