Question

a man has a goat, a cheeter and a stack of grass. he has only one boat and wants to cross a river but cannot cross with all his luggage so how will he cross and still ensure that all his items are in ok

You forgot to mention 2 things:
1. He can take only 1 thing at a time.
2. He cant leave the Grass with Goat, Goat with Cheetah.

Solution -
Take the goat across.Come back.
Take the Grass across and bring back the Goat.
Take the Cheetah Across. Come Back. Take the Goat across.

bring the goat over 1st, den return and get the cheeta. bring the cheeta over and carry the goat back. Then take the hay and travel the the other side. Then go back to claim the goat.
