First off, vitamins. Hair starts at the root. 2, Do not use chemicals on your hair, as it will become brittle and break. 3, Conditioners. Conditioners that you may want to get-cholesteral ( wash hair, rinse, place cholesteral in hair, wrap with saran wrap or a processing cap, place a hot towel on the cap, replace cap every 10 min, for 30 min, rinse with lukewarm water--this may take some time) and if you want an "all natural", Try the Bain de Terre line from your stylist or see if they can order you some. Or try the Biosilk by Fouruk. These are really great tips for ya. I should know, I've been a stylist for many years.

for long hair...someone recommended massaging castor oil in2 the scalp
and for shiny hair: mix a lil pomade w/ conditoner (like generic brand) and then apply and rinse it w/ COLD water. ALso, let it sit for 5 minutes before rinsing. (i knoe this isnt a natural remedy, but it made my hair REALLY shiny and smooth)
