Well, first of all, no Indian is stupid. Secondly, the only AMMA I know is the one in my house, my mother. Thirdly, don't come to someone's place and ridicule them with you pre-conceived notions of stupidity/non-stupidity. Each person has his/her own conception of what's stupid/non-stupid. Each person has his/her own perception of people's intentions. So, I can just as easily call you stupid. Indeed, Christianity or whatever you espouse doesn't seem very flawless. People have faith in their beliefs, and their opponents, who don't share their beliefs, will go to any level to degrade them, stop them, and convert them to their possibly foolish beliefs. By calling even a few of the best and most superior people in the world (Indians) foolish, you have proven yourself a bona fide fool (because you're wrong).

I know, I understand. I'm a Hindu from India and I feel really sorry when I see people in my country being duped by cult leaders like these. There are many illiterate people over here, they get fooled very easily. Of course many Indians are quite concerned about the activities of these leaders. You see, Hinduism was not founded by a certain person, the basic principles of Hinduism denounce any sort of personality cult. Ancient Indian books also warn people against these fake gurus who use people to make money. It's sad, but it happens in developed countries too. I was quite surprised to read that in America hundreds of people have ignored the science of evolution and opted for biblical creationism. This un-religious madness must stop. Religion was supposed to make our lives better, not worse

Remember, all religions are cults until they get about 150 years old; then they're "respectable". Sure, these people are being taken advantage of, but there's nothing we can do.

People need to believe that there's hope. Why d'you think people can win in politics? If I had an option I'd never be governed by anyone.

are they expected to donate 10% of their income? Is this woman incredibly rich? Do they read a book of stories that is probably fiction? Is their god invisible?
Hmmm, maybe it's not these people that are being exploited

They are making known people more & more rich so that they can monitor their "progress". If its not Amma, it will be somebody else who will become rich.
