I am a very strong woman and I agree with you 100%! I believe that the femanists have gone too far. I do not want my man being femanine, that's why I have girlfriends! I do not mind getting flirted with, I do mind being condiscended too though. If I am treated with respect, you can call me doll, baby, darlin', what have you - you call me *****, depending on the circumstances, you might be called worse...but, the basic answer is, we have gone way too far as we have with so many things that we do in this society! Oh, and I do not care if there is a girlie calendar on the machine shop wall...I don't work there and I am not threatened by it at all.
:o) - keep asking these thought provoking questions, I like them!

Feminism isn't about man hating and filing law suits. Feminism is about being respected as a human. It is about being equal in all environments, and receiving respect for a job well done. I personally take it as a compliment if I am told that I am beautiful. There is no way I would go to HR for something of that nature. I won't say that I love attention from males though. As a woman, it can be very uncomfortable if someone is hitting on me and I know their intentions are of a sexual nature. I think that some men give guys a bad name and we shouldn't hold that against the entire gender. However, try getting raped and having a positive outlook on the capabilities of men. Feminism is not out of control at all, if anything it is subdued.

Yes, it is out of control in America- maybe because we have so many perverts attacking our children.
Do those countries have less of that? Maybe they castrate those people or maybe they get put away for life/
I am not a faminist. I enjoy being a woman. I hate it when women try to be men. We can be as smart or talented as a man, but we are still women. Some women fight so hard for independence that it hurts the women who have been stay at home moms and such.
It seems to me that in life things get out of balance one direction because it needs to get attention and bring things back to balance

I think you are confusing feminism with protectionism. When companies try to protect themselves from lawsuits about the atmosphere in the workplace, quite often they use silly rules that mislead women into thinking that they are empowered. If the companies had classes to teach men how to act around women, the rules would be unnecessary.
Feminists, for the most part, just want equal treatment, not special treatment.

I think you're going a little extreme. I mean, I think feminism has gone too far in certain aspects, but not the way you're describing. I don't get any women 'telling' on me, but I don't stalk them either. Either they like me or not.

I think that all in all, FEMINISM is just a conspiracy against real family values, against true, godly fatherhood and motherhood.
AS a woman, I am totally appalled by the so called "modern" but in truth dark ideals of feminism.
Yes, the woman was not created to be a slave of her husband, and before GOD we are equals. The husband, according to the Bible is supposed to treat his wife with LOVE and RESPECT.
BUT, and that is a big one, the WIFE is supposed to submit to her husband, and respect him. Ladies, if we want to be treated with respect and equality by men, so should we... treat ourselves with respect, but also treat the men with their deserved respect. Got it?
