i personaaly dont feel at all that u need this kinda pity or sympathy but if people around u do this sort of things 2 u then u should have 2 be a little more hard 2 them. i mean you shouldn'y show them hat u have faced such a terrible experience. in fact its not as terrible if u r strong and have guts 2 face it. i must say now u should live ur life with extra guts 4 everybody around u.

1)First of all, try to change the way of your thinking. Think positive they might be looking at you as you may be beutyful.

2) Try to relocate if you are studing then try to go other states, of if working try to get job in other states. There no one will know you.

3) And just try not to tell that part of your life anyone though can share this to your life partner if you feel so.

4) Forget it as a bad dream.

Rape is simular to having a baby. Unless a person experienced it, no matter how articulate or eloquent you are, the will never understand it. Even another women that experienced it didn't experience YOURS. It may seem theraputic to talk about it, but understand that you should talk to those that it would be theraputic for you to talk to. It's not good to tell everyone.

Simply discard everyone of the lot of sympathy mongers having no sincerity in their acts. Be in your self confidence and determination of taking up the matter, what may be it. Refuse or decline to accept anyone's sympathy in clear terms.

My dear in this cases people try to be supportive. this because they want to show you that you are not alone and that you can rely on them. This is not bad up to here. But, when they see you with a look that says "poor girl", then I know what you mean,...it makes you feel even worse.
Well, what you can do is just show to the others that YOU ARE STRONG, and that you got over it all. If they begin discussing about it, ask them not to talk about it because you just don't want to be reminded about that.
But, in any case don't refuse your friends when they be nice to you. This shows that they care about you.
Just try to look to life with a positive point of view, show to everybody that you are happy and that you want to enjoy life.
Good luck and be happy

If you're that sensitive about it, don't tell them about it. Most people have mental scars from the experience for years, obviously you're not one of them.

Tell them it is okay, you have gotten past it, and though it will be there in your heart forever....you have learned to deal with it.....thank them for their concern and caring.....and move on....don't be offended by them caring.....or jsut don't tell them about it, since it does not bother you anymore.
