you realize that life and love is about finding the beauty in imperfections, because no one is perfect? Why can't this be an innate behavior?

That's beautiful! However, if that was an innate behavior, we'd be perfect...

When you do come upon that day, its a wonderful experience and I think the misery and heartache it took to get there is an invaluable lesson.

I don't feel like I woke up one day and realized LOL.
I do think it was a learning experience, and it came from growth and it helped me grow further.

Why can't it be an innate behavior? B/c it's learned dude, it's realized through experiences and interacting with others. That's the only way one can begin to break the perception of perfection, it's by interacting forreal with people...

I believe we learn as we go. I think we all start out thinking we will find that "perfect someone". But as we go, and we have a few bad relationships, we realize no one is perfect including ourselves. And when we stop looking for the "perfect one" we find there is actually alot of beauty in the imperfections and are more open to them.
