On a recent visit to Sri Lanka this is what I learned and witnessed . Buddhists monks are exploiting the poor Buddhists and as a result most of these people are joining Christianity. This is what a poor Buddhist man told me, and every person whom i encountered in Sri Lanka told me a similar story.
Madam, Buddhist monks are exploiting us poor people. they dont want our kids to learn english or educate themselves. But because of overseas Christian organisations today our kids have a future, and thats why Buddhists monks are angry with christians.
I would like to hear some comments from Sri Lankan Buddhists?

Typical christian lying until a false pretense.
After the tsunami, christian groups were caught proselytizing around the affected regions: "Convert to christianity and we'll give you food and water! If you don't, we won't help you!"
Here's a thought: I wonder how pissed off Americans would have been if muslim groups showed up in New Orleans and started offering food and water to the blacks that "George Bush doesn't care about," to quote Kanye West. Even if the muslims weren't seeking conversions, you can bet American christians would have committed violence against them.

What the christians did was not altruism, it was blackmail.

These christians are worse than the stereotype of ambulance chasing lawyers.

These godnazis didn't see the millions suffering as people in need, they saw them as potential converts through attacking them when they were at their weakest.

If there were a "god" and a "satan", then the proselytizers who prey on people's misery are, without a doubt, the "most evil" people of all.

Translation: the christians lied about their real actions in Afghanistan. Why should it not surprise that they lied about their actions in Sri Lanka and other countries around the Indian Ocean? This is also why that Korean got his head lopped off in Iraq, he was spewing religion where it wasn't welcome.

Pumpkin, you seem to enjoy attacking the beliefs of othere. You should learn a few things before you continue.
Always doubt what you read on the internet. People only publish there because they can't get published in a reputable journal. The name of the site you got your information from should ring alarm bells.
Many 'christians' seem to think that being persecuted makes them closer to jesus and telling of 'persecution' only 'proves' he was right. Thus an article like this that ssstttrrreeetttcccchhhheeess the truth shows that jesus' predictions 'correct..
Now I'm not accusing you of lying, only believing lies

Bullshit, your creating a story to make it seem like christian organizations are help. The vast majority of them refuse to help people unless they convert, they are making the world worse.
