Just open up and don't try to be. Think about not really being shy and just be forward because if your always shy you may have a once in a lifetime chance eith someone and thats bad not to ever see them again.

Hi dude. I was just like you but I want you to know that it is just te initial hesitation that stops you. I know its not easy but it aint that hard either. Step out of your comfort zone and make a consious effort. It is basically the fear of rejection or the fear of being made fun of that stops you from talking to girls. Build up your confidence, practice in front of the mirror. Remember even the girls are human just like you and me. Its just that they smell better. Go on man, make a move, best of luck.

Just be yourself hun, on't try to hard and imagine you're talking to someone you're 100% confortable with. Just ask questions like what are your hobbies, ask about family, about her intrests and make sure you listen to what she says. The more you do it, the easier it will become!
