Please buy from a responsible breeder that eyetests and hipscores their breeding stock. Never buy from a petshop or puppy mill. Your best bet is to go through one of the standard poodle breed clubs and ask them to put you intouch with reputable breeders in your area.

Try your local newspaper. The advertisement column for pets, especially dogs, is a really good place to start. Or, try this site: www.akc.org. I'm not sure what state you live in, but to find reputable breeders, click on breeds, then click on breeder referral under contacts. http://www.poodleclubofamerica.org/usamap.htm This site has a map of America where you can click on your state to find clubs with breeders who might have puppies available. My newspaper is where I found my dog, a miniature long-haired red and black Daschund.

if you put in your local paper and then read on from that you find classified ads there are loads you need to log on to these sites but there free . they tell you how many miles away the dog , puppy is and its really handy , im looking for a kitten but not pedigree can you help me ? you want classified ads ..

Try the classifieds in the back of magazines Dogs Today and Your Dog. They list breeders and available litters- you can call to see if any breeders are planning litters.

oh too sad you are miles away from me, we have it here, and im working in a petshop. you can choose any color you like and black poodle is just so cool!

search for pets classified in google or yahoo loads of dogs for sale on there
