The old testiment is from jewish torah which predates the new testament by a milliena. But the new testament was written by the disciples of Jesus, and the followers of those disciples. The Bible was not completed in its modern form till the Roman Emporer Constantine formed a concil to isolate and complete it. The council reviewed many books for the new testament and several were not included, which are called the gnostic gospels. They were left out because of their connection to Jesus were in doubt. But they are a good read too.
Gnostic doctrine is where the "DaVinci Code' gets its story from.

A good study bible will help answer your question completely since there is much discussion about the actual authors of each book. Many of the authors are unknown.
Moses wrote the first five books of the bible. The next several books are ascribed to Joshua, perhaps Samuel, King David, Ezra, (1 and 2 Chron. and Ezra), Solomon, etc.
The Four Gospels are written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thess. 1 and 2 Tim., Titus, Philemon were written by Paul. The rest of the NT books are self titled. Revelation was written by John. Hope that helps.
As to your question about the various authors putting their own thoughts/feelings and opinions into the books, I'd have to say yes. Though they are historical records in some cases, they are written from the experience and beliefs of the individual authors, so it is inevitable that each book written by the various authors would have something of the author in the book.
I personally believe that the various authors of the Bible were anointed and selected by God to write the books they did in order that they would be an accurate record and would contain God's truths.
There are other books that were written at the same time that are not in the typical bible, but even those books selected are thought to be representative of the history, culture, teachings and truths of creation and Jesus' time on earth.
I use an NIV study bible which has very clear introductions as to the time, author, content and purpose of each book of the bible.

There are 66 books in the bible. In the Old Testament, presumably unknown people for the most part wrote the books. In the NT, you have the four first books, with different writers, then John wrote a couple and Paul wrote a bunch.
The more important question would be who edited the thing. There were many, many "books" circulating around that were edited out of the official version, that was put out by an Emperor and a bunch of clerics (who stood to lose their heads if they disagreed with the emperor). The books were not only edited, leaving some out, but ideas were changed by the editors. Clearly many if not most of the writers, whomever they were, put their own ideas and feelings into their works.
The site below provides some of the information you may be seeking. It's from a sceptical point of view, not a religious one. See the two last entries, Which Bible and Who wrote the first five books.

Maybe im wrong but im pretty sure you are stating this comment hoping for people to think for themselves, and not offer you a solution or answer.
But if you want answer, then the fact is the people wrote it, Most of the old testment was finally written down hundreds of years after they happen, and were passed down by story telling. The New Testament as well was written several decades after jesus passed away. And of course God rarely ever speaks to groups of people directly throughout the bible, he usually talk through a prophet. Experience will tell you that people like to exaggerate there stories.
This is the reason why we have so much discussion about religion. I bet if God really came down and presented a large group of people with his words and ideas, then we would have one central religion.
Religion, Scriptures, and Faith is all based on interpretation. Take what you want and Believe what you like

Just a bunch of left wing political activists intent on using it to relieve the foolish and the lame of all their physical and mental wealth. But like the left today! and the right come to think of it....And didn't king James change the bible to suit his own ends? Just like Kings and so called prophets over the centuries. Get a grip and dump this joke for what it is. the sooner we all do that the world over, the sooner mankind will live together in peace. Politics have become so corrupt, the masses actual believe that the people involved are trying to do good by them! Wow! How lame do people get?

Each gospel (book) that makes up the bible was written by someone different, mostly like (and no one really knows) is that it was Jesus's disiples (not the 12 big ones) but there followers that started to write the stuff down when they all started dieing and realised that it could be lost. There is a rumour of a master gospel written by someone called Q that could have been the original story and they copied it and elaborated upon it.

Who Wrote the Bible - A Question of Eternal Significance
“Who Wrote the Bible” is indeed a question that everyone must ask. If indeed it is the Word of the living God, then no other book gives us more insight into our lives, more hope for our future, and a true path to a relationship with God. Search the Bible with openness and honesty and see for yourself what the Creator of the universe wants to tell you!

The Bible is actually a compliation of 66 different books written by various authors over a period of 1500 years! The amazing fact is that even in the earliest manuscripts that have been uncovered...the contents of the letters remains consistant throughout time!

2 PETER 1:20-21 20. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,
21. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17
16. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17. That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
