Not really if you're talking about JPG and mp3 files. Since they are already compressed, they often cannot be compressed any further. But you should be able to package them within a Zip file if desired with any Zip program.

Unless image files are raw or bitmap - they are already comressed (like jpeg or gif).

mp3 are compressed as well.
