The attractive guys are usually only attractive on the outside (they look good on the outside and didn't have to work on the personality as much as the average ones). Average guys know that they are not the most attractive and work on their personalities. That's why you click with the average looking guy more than the cute one. Sometimes you can luck up and meet a guy who is beautiful both inside and outside. It does happen. When it does, try to hold on because it is rare.
Personally, I'd rather be alone than with someone I am not into just to please someone else (family, what's expected, etc.).

Women are conditioned from birth to feel inferior and second to men. Society tells us that any man (regardless of who he is, how he behaves and our own lack of attraction, etc.) is better than no man.

Because in our society a woman who ends up along and unmarried is a social misfit. It's better -- according to this thinking -- to settle for someone rather than end up alone. Frankly, that's just stupid thinking.

listening to the advise of girlfriends, parents? either way the fact of the matter is they usualy suggest those that they look for or the ones they wont be jealous of. no one can tell you what is right for you so keep looking.
