Don't let it bother you unless it's blatant. I think it's kinda of nice to know that others are attracted to your bf/gf. You have to determine if it is just a little friendly flirting, or if it is too much for you to handle. If you cannot handle it, wait until you are alone with your gf/bf and calmly (in a non-accusing manner) let them know how you feel about flirting and make sure you don't step over the line of freedom of speech (i.e. that you don't do what you don't want them to do -that is in front of them OR even when they're not around). And if they won't consider your feelings, then perhaps they are not the one you want to continue seeing.

At first I would try something subtle (depending on the severity of the flirting) like putting my arm around my bf/gf 's shoulders. If the flirting continues its time for some fighting words. I'm kind of a "***** back off my man" type of lady

Ladies easy now. It is a compliment for someone else to be attracted to your partner, say like you go to the bathroom and come back and find another guy there talking to your girl. Happens to me all the time. I handle it by politly saying excuse me and tuck my tail, or actually my *****, between my legs and walk away. Making sure to leave with a slight glance at the girl. This is taking into cosideration I do not know she is with someone of course.

Assume he is embarrassed by it, and sympathize with him. It sounds like there's at least a chance that he is in fact embarrassed, but even if not, it will put you in a good light not to be crabby about it. Let him know that you understand he cannot control the behavior of other people, and you don't expect him to be outright rude to someone who is coming on to him. You might also mention that it is rather rude of that other person to be so obvious in front of you.

Try to suppress the jealousy.

Keep in check the pride that I feel for having such a wonderful and desirable person in my life.

Trust in the security of my relationship knowing that it is based on something more than just physical attraction and clever words.

Too bad others don't seem to have that.

It depends. Usually they mean no disrespect so make in obvious in a civil manner that it is indeed your bf/gf. Usually the person will "get it" and back off. If they don't then you gots to keeps it real, as they say.

I used to get very ticked off, and blame my husband. My jealousy cost me a wonderful marriage.
Now I know that I should just have been flattered that someone else thought my guy was worth flirting with.

Pretend it doesn't bother but discretly add some kinda of physical contact with your guy/gurl to show the other person who's with who during the conversation.... or even add some kinda of comment..... to emply your happyness of your relationship.... like: lets say the flirter mentions your guys/gurls eyes you could say " oh [ name of lover] you remember when ...[ some past event that had to do with his eye...ex: when you first meet me your eyes were so beautiful etc.] it show the flirter that you and whom ever have history and that they should back off... butt don't come on too srong now ... you don't want them to know how much it bothers you...you're cool...remember!!!

Hold your head high and be proud. Flaunt the fact that you are going home with the one every body else is dreaming about. - But be irresistible while doing it! If that fails, then punch them both in the mouth!

I'mma pretend I didn't see it if the dude didn't notice I was with her. If he did notice I was the man and he still went with it. Then there's gonna be some drama.

If my girl flirted back. Then I'mma just dump her behind and walk off.
