I'm short (5 ft 1/2, 156 cm). I sometimes wish I were taller.

im 6'2 which is tall for a girl, and i am happy with my height, i can see whats going on at concerts etc! when i was younger and doing naughty stuff it wasnt so good because i could be seen from far away....e.g smoking in a crowd could be seen by my parents...but now that doesnt matter.

I used to be so short. All the way through seconday school I was tiny, so much smaller than everyone else. I was about shoulder height to the majority of my peers. I was quite comfortable with it because it meant I could go unnoticed when I wanted to be.
At the end of year 11 I left tiny, and the beginning of year 12, I came back 5ft6 inches. I must have grown 4inches in the space of three months! I'm npw 5ft6, which I take to be average, and perfectly happy with it, although sometimes I miss being short.
Being short is cool for many reasons, so don't feel down on yourself.
a) Great things come in small packages, e.g. engagement rings!
b) You can go unnoticed if you wish.
c) People feel the need to protect you.
d) You can still pull off the cutesy act no matter how old you are and have people wrapped around your little finger ;0)
e) Be happy with who you are! It's how you were supposed to be, and the guy/girl you spend your life with will probably adore you for it!

I'm 5' 8." Is that tall or just above average? My oldest sister is 5' 11." Now, that's tall! I had the same problem as the other person the same height, it was always hard to buy pants the right length until capris and clamdiggers came back in style.
I think I would be happy with whatever height I was, but would probably prefer taller to shorter.

I'm 6 ft and sometimes I wish I was maybe 2 inches taller, but for the most part I'm happy with my height.

Im short and luvin it im ur height and it works for me if ppl make short jokes abiout me il be likle "ye u noticed and i love it get with it" i just flaunt it everyone alreayd knows im short so i may as well work with it thats all i can do ye when a tal person is in front of u im like arrrrgggghbut then i just say excuse me plz im way down here -- and they laugh it off and move -- thats always works for me -- im short for a reason so what ever it is im lib=ving with it and happy so u shoudl be too us short ppl should stik together lol email me and IM me snytime-- pinkfeverpink@yahoo.co.uk

I am a 5ft 6ins male. Sometimes I find my height a little limiting, e.g. I play for a rygby team and am always the smallest person on the pitch. Don't mention kitchen cupboards.
However I am the perfect height for my engineering job. Most of my colleagues have to bend and stoop. I just stand!!!

I'm 5ft 10, which is quite tall for a female. i used to hate being tall, i was the tallest i my year at school and finding a boyfriend was hard because i was bigger than them. i used to find it difficult to look feminine, always felt i looked like a drag queen. but with age and finding clothes with the right cut that suit my height and shape i now love being tall and can look very sleek, sexy and feminine. you have to learn to like your height and find the right clothes to enhance your best qualities and disguise the bad ones. some clothes make you appear taller/ shorter etc, if you are not happy with your height, reseach it to find the best styles. there are pros and cons to being tall, short and average.

I'm 5' 3'', so I'm a wee bit smaller than average, but I love my height. Small enough so that most men feel protective, but still tall enough not to have any real problems, like with buying clothes

I'm 6'2 Which is fine but I would like to be a bit more stocky in build. So in short were never happy!
One of my friends in the Army says it's handy being short because you don't have to dig such a deep fox hole. LOL

I'm tall, for a woman, at 5'10" (178).
I love being tall and usually wear 2" heels to emphasise it.
My boyfriend is 5'7" and he says another inch or two wouldn't go amiss, but back to heights :o)
