Actually I'm in the Army and I like it, the question isn't serious; It would be a cool joke if a serviceman asked that to a superior officer

I admire you for what you do, unfortunately some people have to it. It would be an ideal world if there was no such thing as greed and selfishness, but there is so, good on you mate!
and I'm glad you like the army, but every one needs a break now and then, you could ask for leave due to fatigues ha ha ha!

Put in a special request chit:

Respectfully request to go home.

I'm sure that would go over really well :) I once put in a two-week notice, but fortunately my superiors had a sense of humor and just had a laugh over it. However, it was denied, and I did my full six years - not bad years at all!

If you go AWOL, you can hide in my basement. Provided, you're willing to do a few special chores.

if you have finished your term, then you can go...if not, you will be charged in the military court for going AWOL... but you can get discharged if you are unable to perform your duty anymore ie :- injured, mentally unstable, etc...
