Why do you want to change? Is that peer pressure, or for a boyfriend? I notice that we always like better what we don' t have. So, here is some facts;
If you are blonde, the sun is highliting your hair naturally. Using highlight to make them blonder would just dry them more.
If you want to go darker, remember 2 things:
#1 color is drying hair so whaterver you do, you have to use reconstructor right after the color in order to bring back the moisture, and thus the shine in your hair. I am sure you have already seen people with hair looking (and feeling) like straw!
#2 if you want to go back to your natural color, your are going to need a "color correction" which is a double process of bleaching out the color, and then die it back into your own color; It is very difficult to find the exact tone, because we didn't know it before. This is also an expensive service.
One more thing before you decide: By no mean use black. EXTREMELY difficult to remove, and sometimes your hair can't take it, so they would melt in the beaching process. The other option, let your roots grow back, until you are tired of them and then, cut your hair short!
I said it all. Now, it is up to you!

I think that sounds great! Making a change can spice up an otherwise boring life! It will not be a perminant change and will allow you to express yourself in a different way. Changing hair color can dramatically affect how people preceive you and your personal image. It might even bring out some personality/attitude in you that you didn't know you even had! Why not make a change? Change is good! You might even find that the new color better suits your personality. :-) If this is your 1st time coloring you hair I strongly suggest that you have a professional do it at a salon. You don't want a bad experience on your 1st try. **If you decide to color it yourself --PLEASE, DO NOT go with the cheapest box you see on the shelf. Rule of thumb in general is to go with the better name brands and the more expensive hair color usually gives the best results. HAVE FUN!!! :-)

Be happy with the hair color God gave you.

I've noticed people with blue eyes tend to look great in anything blue!

Just so you know, dumb blond jokes are about people who dye their hair blond because...I forgot why, but I'm against people permanently dying their hair.

Once you dye it you might not be able to get the original color back.

If your naturally blond leave your hair alone. Original hair color is what makes a person different. You will damage your blond hair by dying it. So don't change it.

I think the best answer to your question is what motivates you to change your hair color? Obviously something prompted you to do so or at least have the idea fo changing your hair color. At the end of the day you would have to ask youself whether everything inside of you agrees to change your hair color.

Natural is the best. You can't do better then God. I colored my hair in the past and I totally regret it. It is so much trouble trying to dye it back to your natural color,the color doesn't stay in and then you have a line of two colors no matter what you do. I wound up cutting my long hair short to get rid of the colored hair.

Um, why... do blond and blue clash? Would another color look smarter? Note sure what your color combo has to do with changing your hair color...

I *had* blonde hair and blue eyes. Dyed my hair black - it's a preference thing, do what you like. I probably will never get my natural colour back but that's alright..
