I actually waited until I was 18 and with a very special girl. You should never have sex with someone you are not completely infatuated with and willing to commit too. Especially at your age, you should hold off for a bit longer. Let the maturity levels of both parties build a bit more to better determine if you are really emotionally ready and capable for such an intimate relationship.

I was 16 and my first time was with my soon-to-be husband (at that time). We've been together for almost 6 years and we'll celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary in August...and we have a 3 year old son; just for those folks that like to do math.
The only thing I regret is actually that I waited to have sex...I know that might sound silly since most people wish they WOULD have waited, but I realize now that I didn't "enjoy" myself when I was ready for sex because of how I felt about my body...so some regret having sex to young and some regret not having sex. Kind of interesting isn't it?

I was 16, and I don't really condone it for anyone who had my upbringing. I didn't have a father growing up and my mother wasn't always concerned with my life even though she raised me. I ended up using sex to feel close to another person and try to fill a void. Ultimately sex is about being close to someone you love and in your teenage years, it is almost impossible to truly be in love, even with great parents. I am now 28, so I wouldn't consider myself "old" but not a kid anymore. You will probably make the mistakes most of us did when we were young and just reflect on it later and wish you hadn't. There is nothing anyone can say to change your mind, you are a teenage just like we all were once and we never listened; we just paid for it later.
My only suggestion is to ALWAYS use condoms and try to consider that you may end up being hurt emotionally by the person you are sexually involved with. Just equip yourself and be safe.

Dinner for two--$150
Decent hotel--$70
Virginity --Priceless
Remember, once lost, you can never get it back. Once you start receiving men, you don't stop. You have your whole life, if it's not too late, PLEASE WAIT. The experience will mean so much more when you are mature enough to understand what's going on with your body and your emotions. Most teens first time is scary because for one they feel guilty, and are sneaking and hoping not to get caught in the act. Enjoy your youth, don't be in a rush to grow up, because once you cross that line, childhood is lost. Don't risk becoming a teenage mother, victim of STD's, and not having a chance to fulfill your dreams. You have a lifetime to be sexual, trust me it won't go out of style by the time you're ready. I was 23.

I think I was about 12 or 13 but I think that a person should wait until they are at least 17 or 18 now that I have gotten wiser with age, Plus with all the std's out there why even consider it at a young age nowadays.

19 and that was too young because I got pregnant and had to start raising a family before I finished college. I love my daughter very much and am glad that I have her, but it would have been better if I had waited a few more years!

13 and it's pretty sad because I'm only 22 and feel like a seasoned vet. I am not proud at all of this age, mind you...
