The size of a platoon varies according to the army to which it belongs. Usually infantry platoons have a minimum of 24 men and a maximum of 50. Armor platoons have from 3 to 5 tanks.

The size of the actual platoon is going to really depend on the type of unit that they are in. It is possible to have a platoon of only 10 soldiers, or as many as 40 or more. Again the numbers will vary by unit type.

I agree with the above but it depends on what type unit you are talking about.

Each squad leader is usually a sgt E-5, and a platoon Sgt an E6 or 7!

Infantry usually have 4 squads to a platoon!
