Part of religion is no tangible proof of God (or gods in some religions) exist. That's the belief part that makes religion what it is.

Now, don't mess with telling us. We have never found the holy grail. Religion is a private matter above and beyond organized ideological movements. Animism, Islam, Judaism, etc. all legitimate forms of religion.
