The word "Trinity" does not exist anywhere in the whole Bible, but it is mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an in the following places:

a. In Surah Nisa chapter 4 verse 171
"Say not 'Trinity': desist:
It will be better for you for
Allah is one God."
[Al-Qur'an 4:171]

b. A similar message is repeated in Surah Maidah chapter 5 verse 73
"They do blaspheme who say
Allah is one of three
In a Trinity: for there is
No god except One God.
If they desist not
From their word (of blasphemy),
Verily a grievous penalty
Will befall the blasphemers
Among them."
[Al-Qur'an 16:125]

Please come to the TRUE WORD OF GOD Qur'an.
Remember
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger of Allah.

Maybe because the word "trinity" was coined by Christian believers before the invention of Islam, but after the writings that encompass the Bible? The Qur'an passages show a clear ignorance of the concept of the Holy "Trinity."

The Trinity is very well described by St. Patrick in Ireland as he attempted to convert the Irish. The shamrock is one physical clover, but has three inseparable parts. Just as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are one. God the Father is the omnipotent, omniscient Creator of heaven and earth. Jesus, is the "image of the invisible God." (see Hebrews) God the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, He who leads and guides. When the Bible states that humans were made in God's image, it refers to the fact that all humans are 3 in 1 as well. We all have a physical body (just like Jesus), an immortal spirit and conscience (likened to the Holy Spirit), and a soul (mind and intellect as the Father), just as God does. The only difference is ours is corruptible and His is not.

Shalom.

Why would we find it surprising that a concept that originated in the 3rd century would not be found in books written in the 1st and second century, but would be found in a book written in the 7th century.

Wow. Perhaps you can explain why 5 falls between 4 and 6 for your next "proof".
