I don't know where you heard that from, but that is not true.
Dr. Pepper has varied ownerships in different countries. In the United States, it is marketed by "Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc", which is owned by Cadbury-Schweppes.
Cola is owned by The Coca-Cola Company, with its headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Pepsi is owned by PepsiCo, with its headquarters located in Purchase, New York.

Pepsi bought Dr. Pepper, but in most parts of the US Coke bottles Dr. Pepper, but Coke and Pepsi are separate companies.

Actually Columbian drug lords owned Coke, bribed Dr. Pepper to smuggle it into the US under the alias of Pepsi. Are you kidding? You have one question for the world to answer and this is it? You need a girlfriend.

No because then that would be a monopoly and the US doesn't like anyone incontrol of one thing. Ex::Rockefeller and oil Bill Gates and computer software

dr pepper is owned by pepsico but is usually dist by coke bottlers.
coke has its own vrsion called mr pibb

I doubt it! That would make them a monopoly and the government would not allow that to happen.
