You're not talking about the sabbath, right?
The sabbath is sundown Friday to sundown Saturday in Jewish culture-the first culture to acknowledge God as we know Him today.
It's Sunday, the day of Jesus' resurrection, to Christians.
But, you're talking about the Lord's Day, as in the day of Judgment, right?
I look forward to it. I mean, I know I have not done all the Lord has called me to do and I need to improve on that daily while He continues to give me the opportunity. I also know that, since I'm saved by Christ's blood, I will not be judged for my sins. I will bow before the White Thrown of Judgment and be rewarded for what I have done in His name and for His sake.
Praise Him! Praise Him! Praise Him!
G-d is good!!!! ALL the time!!!

The Lord's day is the day that the Lord said was His.
"Eat the food you gathered yesterday. Today is a Sabbath, the Lord's day of rest;" (Exodus 16:23 NCV)
"This is what the Lord commanded, because tomorrow is the Sabbath, the Lord's holy day of rest." (Exodus 16:25 NCV)
"but the seventh day is a day of rest to honor the Lord your God." (Exodus 20:10 NCV)
"So the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day" (Matthew 12:8 NCV)
"So then, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day." (Mark 2:28 NCV)
"Then Jesus said to the Pharisees, 'The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day.'" (Luke 6:6 NCV )
So, this would mean that the Lord's day is the Sabbath and not Sunday! It is a time to worship the creator.

It may mean the day you die. John on Patmos, on the Lords Day, fell down as if dead...as strange choice of words, for someone about to talk about death, as if it wasn't final. Maybe he didn't have a word in his language to describe Resurrection. But that would imply that John t physically died, and was resurrected by Jesus. He goes on to describe a second death. The seventh seal, the seventh trumpet, the seventh day. The sabath. A day of rest. Jesus once explained that Lazaruth wasn't dead, just sleeping. Resting. On the Lords Day...
Also, some are resurrected to glory, some to shame...
Fear the Resurrection, or love Him. Either way, worship Him. By the way, Jesus's name is 'Resurrection'. He will be there, on the Lord's Day.

Everyday is a day that the Lord has blessed me with. Everyday should be given to Him.
As for Sunday, yes, I do look forward to it. It's rejuvinating to be back with fellow christians to revive our spirits for another week.

What a silly question...The Lord's day is another example of religious doctrine gone mad - imagine the lunacy, of actually identifying one day a week as the Lord's Day - I mean really, think about it - how simplistic is that concept.
