I read an article about this recently. It is called Lucid Dreaming and there is a method to gain control over your dreams.

There are a lot of online tutorials on how to go about it. I've listed a few links below.

We all have the ability to take control of our dreams, just some are better at it than others. Myself, I am lucky to even remember mine, let alone control them. If you believe in what I am about to tell you then give it a go.

We all have what are called guides. Guides help us in many different ways. If you want help or guidance from them, ask them to show you in your dreams. Also as that you remember your dreams.

When falling asleep ask the above. Also ask that when you do dream that you remember that you are dreaming and so that you may take the dream where you wish it to.

That was the answer for dreams you have when you are alseep.... hehe... here is another answer...

For those of us that have hope and dreams... ie... one day I dream of living in the mountains with ..... you get the picture here... just make the decision that yes, that is in fact going to happen to you.

I'm guessing by "conscious control over my dreams" you are referring to a process known as "Lucid Dreaming."

I'm just pointing you in the right direction here because it's a very hard and uneasy process, and still fails most of the time with training. As I can see here, most common technique is meditation, but there are many others.

So you're best off to research it via a search engine and find the technique that you think will be better for you.

Good luck.

Actually, you can. It's a process called "Lucid Dreaming." It takes quite a bit of practice and effort. Go to Barnes and Noble or Amazon and there are some pretty good books that tell you how to do it. There's not enough room here to go through everything.

its all about guiding it your way gently. If you excercise too much control you will wake up. You need to go with the flow and if something doesn't turn out so good, just go with it, otherwise if you fight it too much you'll wake up. Take some practice, when you feel yourself gaining consciousness of a dream, gently suggest an action. See how it goes.

when I have nightmares, people say that it's because I thought about something connected to the dream before I fell asleep. Maybe what you should do is find things you want to dream about and think of them right before you go to bed! I hope that helps!

Try practising Lucid Dreaming first.

You really can't. If you had control, you wouldn't really be dreaming. In fact, you need to release control in order to let yourself dream.

I know in some of my dreams I can and others not. I have such bizarre dreams though, I'd hate to control them because they are so bizarre I'd never come up with them myself!
