Pamprin always worked well for me.
And on the months that I worked out more, and especially worked my abs more, I noticed that my cramps were remarkably less severe. And hey, there's nothing wrong with looking toned.. :)

Caffeine. Either drink some coffe/tea or take some Midol which has a schwack load of caffeine.
Exercise.
Hot water bottle or heating pad.

Pamprin or 800 mg Motrin works wonders. Also, rest and a heat pack are good too.

I know this is wierd and i dont know how old you are i am a girl and i get terrible cramps and i was told i swear to god my gyno told me to masturbate and have a orgasm it works and i know your gonna be like ewwww but dont take it the wrong way

Drink a cup or 2 of really warm (but not hot) tea. Really really helps me!!!
Also, a warm bath will help.

Pain relievers, such as apirin. I usually use Goody's or BC powders because they work so well and really fast.
