how do i get a girl to like me?

i met this girl at school in pe and at first we didnt talk, when we started to do golf in pe we started to talk more about each others lives, at that point i realy started to get into her and want to know about her more. later she had found me on myspace and we got to talking a little bit more. later i found out that she was more into someone else that was more like a rocker. later i told her that i liked her over myspace and how she felt about me. she told me that she thought i was a sweet guy and that she wasn't interested im me and that she was interested in the other guy. how do i get her interested in me?
