Hurt him. You have NO idea how many times women have strung me along because they didn;t want to hurt my feelings. Be honest. He'll hate you worse if you lead him on. Do it and do it quick. The longer you wait the worse it will get.

And don't try to send "signals". He may misinterpret them. Just say no to him and get it over. Apologize for hurting him and move on.

You really want to be a cool chick? Set him up on a date with one of your friends. Either you'll make him happy OR maybe you'll see a different side of him and eventually agree to date him later if things don't work out with the friend.

Honesty is always the best in the end. If you try to fabricate some excuse or do the pity date, it will probably blow up in you face. Just come out and say I do enjoy our friendship and i dont want to hurt you but you deserve honesty, and honestly i dont love you. It will hurt for a while, but think of what could happen if you pretended.

It will hurt him anyhow and if you try to do something extra ordinary then tht cud hurt more so better u be straight and tell him clearly that you don't have such kinda feelings now but don't know abt future.... so better u try ur somewhere else and I really don't wanna hurt u so consider it seriously otherwise if you feel the same way it can hurt both of us in future.

You are both better off in the long run if you simply tell him honestly that you just want to be friends (Say; "I'm sorry, I just like you as a friend."). He may be disappointed, but if you say so politely, with a little compassion, he will probably take it well, and you will have saved him a lot of time (because now he will pursue someone else).

Honesty is the best policy of all. I think you should be truthful and tell him that you just don't have feelings the same way he does. And that maybe you just need to explore the world a little more, but it is not because of anything he has done.

You can't reject him without hurting him. However you'll hurt him far less by being honest up front. Being wishy washy will give him some hope and make the hurt last longer.

Tell him immediately. You don't have to be nasty. Just tell him you're not interested.
