You can use Microsoft Paint, Windows Picture and Fax Viewers....and to edit it, use something similar to a photoshop software or else, if you're like me, use Powerpoint LOL

Most likely, it is an image file of a CD or DVD.

You can view the contents with a program called MagicIso

Or you can mount the image as a virtual CD/DVD with DaemonTools. It'll look like a CD/DVD drive on your system.

,img files can be extracted with eather WinRaR, or Magic ISO. you can also burn them onto a cd or dvd using nero.
