It seems to have an answer to and commentary on everything else; it's like a book of cure-all. I wish Martha Stewart would come up with something as clever.

Yes. You can commit 'blasphemy of the Holy Spirit'. Instant damnation in a can!

** Instant recipe for damnation:
1. Deny God exists
2. Deny Jesus Christ is the Son of God
3. Blaspheme the Holy Spirit **

1. I deny that God exists.
2. I deny that Jesus Christ is the son of God
3. The Sacred Spook is a poo-head.

...

Well, I'm not in hell, so I guess it must be a delayed reaction, huh?

I bet not one Christian here even knows what "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" is, for all their talk about it. If the Holy Spirit = God= Jesus, then blasphemy against one would be blasphemy against all, right? So how is it that I can blaspheme (whatever that is, exactly) the HS and get a free ride straight to Satan's Festival o' Fiery Fun, but I can curse Jesus or God and be forgiven?

Oh, yes, and there are many things about which the Bible provides no guidance at all: abortion, stem cell research, cloning, organ donations, blood transfusions, space exploration, deep-sea research, plastic surgery, the use of television, radio, and other media, wilderness preservation, the saving of endangered species, and on and on. I'm sure, if you looked hard enough, you'd find people who object to one or more things on that list on the grounds that God doesn't like it, yet they won't be able to find a scripture to prove it. In fact, you can probably add Martha Stewart to that list--she must have done SOMETHING to get on God's bad side.

Instant? No. If you grieve away the Holy Spirit, that's certain damnation, because the Spirit is the only one drawing you to God. If you send the Spirit away, then you won't have the desire to be with God any more, and so you won't. That's why it's certain damnation. But that doesn't happen fast. That happens when the Holy Spirit keeps coming to you and trying to get you to repent of your sins and you keep refusing.

I believe so.
Mathew Chapter 12 vs 31-32

31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

The only "instant damnation" is giving religion any credibility and wasting brain cells on such twaddle.

Ask a person of the clergy. He would be more qualified to answer this.

if ur asking how to garentee not to go to heaven, knowingly and willingly lieing/boasting to the holy spirit. basically saying that ones self is greater than God, or firmly believing that there is no God.

You can reject Christ. Since accepting Him is the way to enter, then rejecting is the way out.
