I often feel really at peace in nature. I have one moment that really stays with me and I sometimes close my eyes and bring back to feel again. We were diving in the Maldives and out of nowhere these enormous mantas appeared and began circling us. They came so close that I could reach out and run my hand along one's stomach. At first I was full of adrenaline and excitment but then it was like time slowed down to nothing and everything was so quiet. For that time I wasn't thinking about the past or future in anyway nor even thinking about anything at all. I was just completely immersed in that moment of life and feeling completely connected to everything around me. I looked over at my husband who was with me and when our eyes met I knew he was feeling this too and it was just incredible to share.

My definition of peace is inner calmness, a sense of connection with all living things, and being fully and joyfully in the moment rather than thinking about past events or planning the future and what I have to do later.

When I realized that I was not a good person, but a bad person.

For the first time I realized that salvation wasn't up to me. It was an event that only God could perform and keep until I die or He returns.

As the Scripture says, I "have peace in believing."

Peace is knowing that you are saved by grace alone through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.

I hope to see you in heaven one day!

I WAS CHARGED WITH FALSE CRIMES AND TOLD THE MAXIMUM SENTENCE WAS 44 YEARS, I made bail and one day I was out AND I ASKED GOD FOR a song to come on the radio within the next 30 minutes. It was a song where the man sang "everything's gonna be alright". I had not heard that song in a long time, and suddenly it came on the radio just as I finished asking God for it. I was totally at peace with tears in my eyes.
Today, I write this letter a totally FREE man. Enough Said!!!

When I shucked the ingrained fear of the devil. Once I realized that Satan was a myth and that churches stay in business by keeping believers living in fear of the devil and hell - I transcended it all and am at peace with myself and the world. I no longer keep a worrisome eye to the sky looking for a saviour that's likely not to ever reappear, nor fear a God of Love. If the Christian God is a God of Love, then why be God-Fearing Christians. Quite a dichotomy, no?

To me, peace is calmness and quietness of my spirit, joy and no fear.

The time I have had the most peace in my life is when I have been doing what I know is right and benefits other people.

The why: Because I am fulfilling God's purpose for me on this earth. (i.e. I'm doing something right, for once!!)

I was in the pits of hell when I heard a voice say "Come to me and I'll help you." I had never before that time, and only once after, felt so serene and calm. I Knew "All is Well."

After I had my wisdom teeth removed because I was stoned out of my mind from three different painkillers. I felt a deep Zen connection of love and happiness with the world and all who exist on it. Or it may have been the Vicodin/Codeine combo... Who knows?

I felt the most peace when I accepted the call of my Lord Jesus Christ, because He washed my sins away with His precious blood that He shed on the cross for me.

When I called on the name of Jesus Christ, I was saved, and I felt my guilt and shame go away, because I trusted Him, and His word.
I find peace in knowing that I will be with the Lord my Father, when I die, and that I will spend Eternity with Him!

That is my hope and my peace.
Love in Christ, Sabrina
