It should be fine. As long as the dog doesn't drink the polish or anything, she'll be ok. Just don't let her lick the nails with wet polish.
I still have to question your sanity for wanting to do it. Somebody's got too much time on their hands and too little to think about when they're worrying about painting their dog's nails.

Dogs lick other dogs butts. I think you're ok. Actually I had a poodle when I was a kid--every time I took her to the groomers she came home with violet nail polish on--Very cute! BTW Sally Hansen makes an awsome quick dry that works really fast, I'd use it.

Dogs do not bite their nails. They lick their ball$. Go for it, dog groomers do it everyday. If it is safe for humans how could it hurt your dog. You do know they do cosmetic testing on animals don't you?

i could advise getting greater then one chicken for him. i'm particular they gets alongside, it fairly is basically that roosters particularly go with to *ahem* get busy with the hens, and it may particularly get tiresome for the little females. (and that i do no longer advise that for the time of a gross way or something). So getting a minimum of four or 5 for him could be super, so the girls can get a wreck, and in some circumstances help one yet another out by way of chasing him away. additionally, besides the fact that if that's a white extensive, i could advise getting some Jersey extensive hens. i haven't any journey with the, yet i'm particular they could get alongside super. i for my section fell in love with the pink intercourse-appropriate breed. I even have some rescued intercourse-appropriate hens, and that they are the sweetest chickens EVER!! Their names are Rosy, Ruby, and Alice. They lay huge brown eggs approximately 5 or 6 situations each week, and that they have got super temperments. additionally they weigh approximately 4 pounds, so they could be with reference to an identical length as your roo. And, in case you get them organized from a hatchery, the possibilities of you getting a cockeral jumbled at the same time along with your pullets are narrow to none, when you consider that they are particularly trouble-free to intercourse as chicks. I even have additionally heard good stuff with reference to the Cochin breed, yet they do no longer lay as many eggs, because of the fact they flow broody so often. whilst you're desiring them to be basically pets however, they could be a reliable breed to flow with, as they are friendly and intensely cool finding. they are additionally surprisingly super, so they could be waiting to safeguard the Jersey extensive chicken. Hmmm...it particularly is approximately all i will think of of. desire this permits!

actually they make dog nail polish....it is safe for dogs and that is what the groomer uses. Don't use human polish on them as they could ingest it and get poisoned.
