I have a wart on the palm of my hand near my thumb. About a week ago i bought an over-the-counter "wart-off" solution to get rid of it. Ive been putting it on for a week now and i think it might be starting to get infected. it has a redish ring around the wart and looks like its getting puss around it too. Its starting to hurt when i move my thumb etc so i stopped putting the stuff on yesterday. Should i just leave it to clear up by itself now? what should i do? (Will it clear up now that i have stopped using it?)

if not, wait for the puss to fully develop, and then get rid of it with your CLEAN HANDS, not with other things
then i think wait for time to heal it

For peace of mind, I'd have a dermotologist look at the wart to see if freeze treatments can finish what the wart remover started.
Years ago, I successfully used a "wart-off" solution on my hand and the area had me concerned days later. However, I applied more of the "wart-off" stuff, and placed a tight bandage over the area. About two weeks or so later, the wart was cleanly gone.
