Although rare, it is possible to trigger seizures by playing with your mental state. It is also possible to enter into a semi-dream state similar to sleap walking in which your body may start walking around and doing things without you being aware of it (obviously dangerous). These types of practices come with warning labels for a reason.

Astral projection is completely safe. You do it every night. It's essentially just lucid dreaming. The only difference is what you call it.

I have read up on plenty of ways to astral project, and have even experienced myself. No demons will not possess your body, no you will not go insane, and no you will not die in real life if you "die" in your astral voyages or dream.

www.mysticweb.org has all sorts of information on it, a forum and links. But you really have to able to put up lots of religious explanations and such. If that's not your thing you can easily google up more information.

Plenty of things to worry about oobe-ing out. Never know what might grab you - and I'm not talking hookum. Give it serious thought and research well before you make such an attempt. Nothing worse than going out and not getting back. Read some Carlos Castenada for some chilling tales of his experiences. The universe is not a nice place.

Any attmempt at an altered state has its risks. My suggestion would be to read up as much as you can from books on the subject and take things slowly. Caution is always a good way to go when dealing with powers beyond yourself.

welll, supposedly there's the danger that a roaming soul will come and try to take over your body by cutting what keeps your soul joined to it. Besides it is bad to try to go to places you don't know... I never heard why though

I would strongly suggest you have a spotter. That is someone who stays with you while you attempt it, Also I would study alot first.
