Leos are believed to have an egoistical problem and they always want to be seen and be the centre of attraction. As they put in a lot of effort towards being praised, they can, sometimes, say small and harmless lies to boost their image. But, at times, all do lie,regardless of any sunsign when necessary and this does not comply that they are habitual liers. Acoording to me, whatever I know about astrology, no sunsign has ever mentioned as to which sunsign people lie less and who lie more. It depends on the person and the situation

I've never heard that. My son is a 30+year old Leo, and he is one of the most straightforward people I've ever met. He doesn't like to lie and if he is forced into a position where he may have to say something that could hurt another person, he will find the most diplomatic way to do it. Almost always the answer he gives is accepted in a positive light because he puts a grain of truth in it.
Also, a person may not be a "true" Leo if he/she were born say near the end of that sign. If it were a day or two before the next one, characteristics may be more likely of the next sign.
Western astrology isn't close to accurate. Have you looked into Chinese astrology? It's based not only on day and month, but also the year you were born. Then you learn your sign: Tiger, Rabbit, Monkey, etc. From there you go to that section of the book and you can read about your past, present and future, prospects for different careers, compatibility guide for relationships, all kinds of things. Even a Monkey, for example, is broken down into whether he or she was born in say the winter and even approximate birth time. It's very detailed and takes into account much more than simple month and day.
Chinese astrology is fascinating. Go to a bookstore (independents and ones that specialize in "New Age" subjects may be more likely to have books). Also, you can go on line by entering subject matter "Chinese Astrology" and you should get enough hits that will help you research this personality.

i am a leo and i can not lie to save my life- in fact, i sometimes think someone should have schooled me on how to lie effectively.
every leo i know believes in the things they roar about to a point that because they have done their research they have no reason to lie.
it may be true that leo's love the attention but they are vain enough to only want REAL praise so they would never lie to get it

No, it is not true. I don't think leos are liars, and most people don't think so, either. It's just not a common belief. I would bet that even most people who read horoscopes don't believe this.

I have never heard that before. Those over generalisations are of no use. Best get a specific astrological chart done to see what your strengths are.
