Let's not over generalize. Some Christians use their minds brilliantly, and say some things worth reading / hearing.

Part of the problem is this. So many are like young school kids that seem to think they know it all simply because they've gone to school for a bit.

Another thing is this. The Bible becomes to them quite a powerful tool that aid them in adding discipline to their lives. Many, however, never really get into studying the matter objectively in order to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. They end up idolizing the Bible, and they feel threatened with others disagree.

One should never trust in the arm of flesh. It's not about trusting in people, but in Christ. People will always fail you. Your trust in the promise of Christ will guide you and extend wisdom to you in regards to how you deal with people, whether they be Christian or otherwise. Anybody can say that they are a Christian, but you can tell the pretenders from the real ones by the way they treat other people and respond to adversity.

They shouldn't. They should trust the LORD Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, the term, "Christians" has lost its true meaning due to the fact that many call themselves Christians who are not. And many act anything BUT Christlike. I am a Christian, but would tell you not to judge Christ by Christians because so many give Him a bad name, if it were possible. If I were to judge Christ by the behaviour, arrogance, bible illiteracy, lack of love, faith, hope and knowledge of many Christians, I'd have him hanged! Thank God He is so much more wonderful than people portray Him. Hallelujah to the spotless lamb of God! Worthy is the Lamb that was slain.

Trust your conscience. It tells you the difference between right and wrong. Have you ever told a lie, stolen, looked at women/men with lust, used God's name in vain? If so, then by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterous blasphemer at heart. God will hold you accountable on your day of judgement. Will you be innocent or guilty if He judges you by the standard of the 10 commandments?

It is up to you to be honest enough to admit your need for His forgiveness.

Know one should TRUST another human being. Christians are human beings. Trust in your belief whether it be Buddhism, baptist, christian, catholic, Lutheran, whatever. Trust in what you believe in. When I go to church I'm letting my pastor guide me to have a better understanding of the word, but I put my trust in GOD!
