I have several of his books and generally enjoy them. His book of apologetics: “Evidence that Demands a Verdict” was a standard back when it was first published and has been updated many times. I think I have it and “More Evidence that Demands A Verdict” somewhere on my bookshelves. I also have “Jesus: A Biblical Defense of His Deity” co-authored by Bart Larson. His first books are rather dry and mostly just a compilation of Scripture and seasoned quotes in defense of Christianity, but helpful for their order and ease of use. But to use any such intellectual weapons in the pursuit of knowing YHVH or gaining a convert to Christ is foolhardy at best and if successful, dangerous to the spiritual welfare of the recipient. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit”. Apologetics, no matter how solid, can never be the basis of true conversion to Christ. “To convince a man against his will, is to be of the same opinion still.”

Ravi Zacharias seems to have gained more popularity among the apologist booksellers of late. I have 4 or 5 of his books and recommend them, but with the same caveat.
