Don't worry.

They can't interfere with your love life, because your 18!

There is nothing wrong with having a younger boyfriend.

well. if you're sure you want tobe with him then go for it. But sometimes when so many people oppose to it in one way or another, it is really hard to maintain a relationship. If to that you add the distance, it doesn't look nice at all, though distance is not really important in the end, you could see each other in a place near for both or something. Maybe the age is the terminant point. I had a relationship with the same difference of age and ... well it did not work out too good. However if you both really like each other, maybe you hould give it a shot. if it doesn't work out at least you won't regret the fact that you didn't try...

I guess you have to ask yourself why you really like him. Consider the fact that most girls, your age, tend to become hung up, on guys, for all the wrong reasons. Perhaps you only like him because your parents don’t.

Also consider that it is a crime for you to ever enter a sexual relationship with him, within the next two years. You could even be setting yourself up for trouble if you drive around, with him, in your car. No matter how much you like him, you really don’t want to end up as a known sex offender. All that need happen is one of his parents file a complaint! Today, almost all employers do background checks. If you are arrested as sex offender, (convicted or not) everyone, whom takes the time to look you up on the net will know for the REST OF YOUR LIFE!

Keep him around as a friend. If you like him two years from now, then it was worth it!

Sorry to bring bed news!

please...don't even worry about it. two years is no difference at all. age is just a number and are you really going to let a number (A single digit number mind you) get in your way of what could amount to a great relationship? my parents are 15 years appart and have been married for 16 years...i don't think 2 years is going to hurt.

Got my 1st girlfriend at 25. Married in 29. What's the hurry? Your parents have the wisdom to protect you from unnecessary troubles should you listen to them instead to your feeling. finished your studies, find a job, be independent. 7 years from now you will be making multiple choice which guys would be your Mr. perfect.

Don't drop him. See how it works out...Try and treat like any other relationship and go with the flow... worrying about the age and focusing on that number rather than the relationship can harm what's between you two.
Stay calm with your parents just let it go...when they say something about it listen and respect it ,but remember how you feel.

Enjoy your time with him, age is not the matter, the matter is your true feelings. Maybe in the future you will be only his friend, but at least you will know that you tried and will be better than you ask to yourself in the future : What could be if I had tried?
