Maybe he wants to build a friendship first. That's a great thing! Hopefully you two are on the same relationship level in your hearts. It's worth discussing after the 6 dates.

It may just mean he's a very traditional guy. Six dates in and calling every night means he's interested, nobody does that if they are not.
I had some friends in college that wound up getting married who did not kiss for the first 9 months of their relationship! Now, these were two good looking people, and they had pretty active dating lives leading up to their finding each other. That's just where the guy was at, he refused to make it even close to getting physical, and she completely respected him for it.
If this is going somewhere in your heart, accept this as a great gift....physicality can often inhibit the deepening of the more important aspects of the relationship. Take advantage of this time with him.
And this is novel...ask him about it. You might find out something about him you didn't know before, that will raise his level in your eyes even further.

He's gay. You should go out with me instead.....Hah, just kidding. He may be extremely shy about takin the initiative on that. He may be religious and against ANY type of hanky panky. He MAY be gay, who knows. Try workin it around to where it'd be natural for a kiss, and YOU initiate it. He may not be aware that you'd welcome it. We guys generally DO NOT get hints. We're more linear, and logical in our outlook, so we take whatcha say at face value.

all it means is that both of you are affraid to make the first move... try and bring a kiss up in conversation like maybe as a joke or something and go from there... it doesnt mean he is gay or isnt into you it just means neither of you have made a move
