It really depends on the kind of person you are. Are you a patient, understanding person? Do you have issues with people who are mentally ill? Mental illness can be difficult to deal with but I believe that if you educate yourself and look at the person and not the medication then you should not have a problem wtih dating someone who is taking an anti-depressant. Learn more about why people take anti-depressants and what they can be used for.

No, as long as they continue to take their medication. The hard part is if they don't, or it they discontinue if before their doctor tells them to do so. For the most part, you can't tell someone who takes antidepressants correctly from anyone else. As depression is a chemical (and therefore, physical) ailment, think of it as dating someone who has diabetes. A diabetic is fine as long as they follow their doctor's orders (watch their diet and take their insulin).
It's very sad to see the statement from the person who referred to people who take anti-depressants as "broken". How uneducated in this day and age.

Make sure you are actually dating the real person and not just the antidepressants. They might be the only thing keeping them sane!!!!!

easy enough. Who knows, dating you will bring them back to a positive outlook and you saved them and made them feel so much better. Give them an honest try.
