Religion, in most instances, was created by humans searching for a deeper meaning to life, and a source of creation. Since there are so many people, there are bound to be many ideas on how, or what these things are.

Because people evolved at different places of the globe, and belifes were struck up, which made senes to them on there part of the earth.

No one would ever agree on one relegion.

in this crazy world we live in you have the choise to beleive as you see fit..The world is bad now but try to think about what it would be like if you did'nt have any choises.. WOW I kinda like being able to think for myself..Why not only one movie on tv or only one kind of car.. As for relegion the good load gave man the right to worship as he sees fit, right or wrong... Every region of the world has its own customs, diet, language, and identity. Every region of the world also has its own take on religion and spirituality that most suits it populace because... well, can you imagine a white bearded homeless-looking guy being your savior if you're used to your deity represented in the color of your skin?

It started out with jews but in other parts of the world there were other religions then the catholic religion then people didnt like it so thats how there are methodists and stuff like that.

people think differently and have different life experiences that let them see the world in a different light. Its when we can get together and intelligently discuss these different ideas instead of pointing fingers and condemning each other that we find a common bond beyond faith.

thats like saying why should there be races in this earth why is there not only one race? caucasion,mexican,african american,...aaa.. and like alot more b/c there so many differnt ppl some ppl make up there own religion and make cults and stuff there differnt ppl there all chose there own path nobody wants to be the same

Same reason why everyone thinks, talks, and acts different from each other. We're not robots, so why should we only have one religion to choose from?

Because as humans everyone has their own opinions about everything, God/Goddess included. So long as there are opinions, there will be more than one religion.
