HE DID GIVE ME HIS NUMBER BUT I HATE BEING THE FIRST TO CALL AN AFTER HE DIDNT CALL ME IM REALLY NOT CALLING HIM NOW. I THOUGHT THE GIFT WOULD BE A NICE AN HE COULD CALL ME FIRST.

Well, the answer is I am a guy. I call, but no one picks up. A couple of my female friends gave me there number, but when I called them, they didn't answer. I called at least 20 times & still did not get an answer nor did any of them call back. So the question is why don't women answer when after the guy gets a woman's number?

plz stop wasting ur time. u sound like a nice girl who met a guy with issues. u can do better and u deserve better. there are nice guys out there, go get u one, girlfriend. a little advice tho... u r more apt to know if the guy really likes you if you'll let them make the moves. you'll also be able to tell if he has a backbone. don't be so anxious. it's gonna happen....just a question of when. in the meantime. hang out with friends, if you can, go to work there's nothing like knowing you can do for yourself. that you're ok by yourself. when mr right does come along, give him a chance to show you he is the right one. just a suggestion.

Sometimes men call.
But if there is no intention of getting somewhere or maybe the guy does not find you attractive; then he may not call you.
Besides women do the same thing too; they give the guy the number or vice versa and nothing happens.
It works both ways.

I am not sure what happened when you speak of his job. If you got off on the wrong foot and he was fired because of it, then I would say he probably does not want to speak with you. Or, he just has not gotten around to it yet.

It's probably the three day rule. Some guys go by this rule, that you can't call a girl for three days. The reason is he doesn't want to seem desperate or needy. But if he's not going by the rule and doesn't call, than forget him, you don't need his THANK YOU anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!

he's probably don't want to be botherd. whatever happened during the first impression, he not so happy with what he saw. so if do not call take it as a lost and a lesson learned.

Hey, its not just us guys honey!! Buddy of mine did the very same thing with a girl he was interested in 10 years ago, and she gave him the same response this guy gave you. Don't stereotype all of us into one basket.
