I just joined a few days ago. How long have you been on it and how much have you lost?

I havent joined weight watchers ....but I have been eating weightwatchers for lunch and dinner now for about two or three months... I have lost 16 pounds and still loosing. The thing to remember the most is you have to eat every three hours. This is what I eat most of the time. Breakfast 7:00 am. one bowl of corn flakes 2%milk and one banana, 9:00 am snack.. could be a diet pop cycle or gernola bar... 12:00 pm my weight watchers meal perferable the one that has the most callories in it. 3:00 pm I will eat another diet pop cycle or gernola bar. then at dinner I will eat a weight watchers meal that has less calories in it. The meals are really tasty and the icecream is too. I am also a bread eater so I will sometimes eat a peice of whole wheat bread with my meals..Drink alot of water and I drink diet pepsi too... Also before you start a exercise program check with your doctor first but I guess they told you that. But I really haven't been exercising that much... the secret to a diet is portions and (you have to be on one that you will stick with and don't starve yourself.) That will not work.... Also your body goes into starvation mode if you don't eat something every three hours. You will think I'm crazy but that is what worked for me. I'm in my 40's I began gaining when I reached the age of 39 and had alot of stress in my life... I now like about three pounds getting down to my ideal weight where I feel my best... size 6 So go for it. and the weigh will start coming off... But give it time... By you joining the program you should loose quicker than I have. But I'm ok with what I have done so far.

I have been on and off of weight watchers for years.

it is a very healthy way of eating. It is a change of life, and I know if you follow the plan,, after the first few weeks fo weight loss,, you should lose 1 or 2 lbs. per week. I got upset because I would go 2 or 3 weeks without losing,,then all of a sudden, i would have a 4 lbs lose???????

The only bad habit that i had was; that i bought everything to sold. I bought the cookbooks, measuring spoons, mug, caluculator, counter book..you name it,, so there fore it cost me a lot to attend the meeting..lol
but,
the main thing that bothered me was that~~
I was always thinking about "food" weather I was eating it, cooking it, buying it, attending the meeting that the main topic was food,,, it seemed I "ate", slepted and breathed///food"
If you miss a meeting you still have to pay,,so don't miss, and they really motivate you to stay on track,, if you ahve a good leader , ''

I liked it , and will joing again, and try not to buy all the extras!!!

Weight Watchers is very helpful and i have been on it for 2 months lost 35lbs.

I've been doing it for 10 years. I love it. I lost 70 lbs. and maintain a very healthy lifestyle.
