Why don't we log on to God website on Sunday and we can save money on gasoline, I'm sure it would be OK with God, wouldn't it?

Yeah, considering god doesn't exist, it probably wouldn't care either way.

Any one who comes to God in The Way He proscribes may speak to Him from anywhere. No internet needed.. For those of the Christian faith however, there is God's instruction that we are to not forsake fellowship. in other words, go to church. Church is wherever two or more of The Faith gather in Christs name.

This defeats one of the purposes of church, and that's: learning from each other, about right relating, meeting each other, growing into a Faith community. Without each other we are incomplete, we are not the body of Christ we're just a thumb or a knee...(and don't you dare expand this analogy too far)

I do enjoy some great teachings on webcasts however....

That's better than nothing but He says, over in Hebrews 10:25, that we should not forsake our assembling together.

There is value in fellowship, support and exhorting one another that cannot take place if we're at home on a keyboard.

I love going to church. There is something about worshiping God with all my brothers and sisters in Christ. It is awesome. Then, all of us listening to our Awesome Pastor teach... Nothing like it..... Then, when the service is over, we love the fellowship. We have some great friends at church and we love to talk......
There is nothing like my church family.... and all of us getting together to love on OUR LORD......

No, the Bible says that we should not fail to assemble ourselves. and also that iron sharpens iron. It wont save u just because you go to Church but God gives the preacher guidance for the congression he is over.

Not exactly since we're supposed to get together with other believers and encourage them in their faith! Nice try, though!

God has a website?

interesting Idea.. In all honesty then there wouldn't be a good way to meet people or socialize.

it's more of a tradition for lot of people than act of worship(just my thought)

How 'bout if I just walk into our living room and honor them at our altar with incense, candles and a small offering? It works for me every day!
