Remember when Jesus tells His disciples, in Matthew 17:20, So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." So many times we as Christians don't have the faith to do the things that Jesus has said that we can do. Do we all(as Christians) truly believe the promises that are in the Bible? The Bible tells us that we have not, because we ask not.......do we have the faith necessary to carry out the things in Mark 16:15-18?
The other problem is, what are our motives when we desire to perform healing, or other miracles. Do we truley seek to glorify God by these works, or to glorify ourselves. The Bible tells us that our hearts are desperatly wicked above all else. I can only speak for myself, but I pray daily for the faith to move mountains. And I really think you said it all in your last line, that you feel the presence of God, that you are a much better person, and that you pray a lot more! Those things are what is so great, all of those other things are what the apostle Paul calls our "works", and we know that we are not saved by our works, but by our faith in Jesus Christ. Are you the same person your were before you came to faith in Christ? Of course not, none of us are as Christians, don't you think that is a far greater miracle that any healing? Paul said that we were once dead in our sins, but now we have life in our savior Jesus Christ. I don't think there is anything wrong with your church. I think that the greatest thing any church can do is to follow the great commision, in Matthew 28:18-20!!

I too go to a church similar to this. I am excited about the above link. Great things are happening there. Watch the little promo. Jesus went to where they were. Rarely the other way around. Well for demon possession anyway. The sick often went to extremes to get Jesus' attention.
I believe if we start taking the word of God to the streets like they did 2000 years ago. We will start to see those kind of miracles. People are hungry and want to see God in this form. Now is the perfect time to start acting like Apostolics. Hope to see you there.
If you feel the presence of God the way I do. Then you know it isn't fake.
God bless your Journey.

I'm not sure why your church is not seeing instant results, or for that matter why few are. But I believe it has more to do with God's timing than it has to do with our prayers. If there is anything I've learned in my walk with Jesus it's that God's timing and my timing are completely different. His soon may seem to be ages for me. The statement, "Heal people instantly by touching them without prayer" I think I can answer, The bible states that the Holy Ghost will pray for you in God's way even when you do not know the words to say. The Holy Spirit speaks to God on your behalf without human words. So I think that if you are healing someone and do not know the words to say it is the Holy Spirit praying and not you. therefor I feel it is impossible to heal without prayer. Perhaps you need to remind yourself that it is God doing these things for His Glory, not you for yours. When things aren't going at your pace perhaps God is reminding you of his pace. I have tried to heal without asking God and found that I cannot, it is only through the Holy Ghost that I can. That's because it is not me doing it, but God. Pray about this, God always answers His children's prayers. God bless you.

This is a hard, yet honest question. If you look at the letters to the churches in Revelation, you will see a body of believers who endure until the end (Philadelphia). One of the things Jesus mentions is that they have "little strength" but encouraged to "hold on to what you have until I come". So Jesus made it clear that the church of the Last Days will be hangin' on my the fingers. This is not a bad thing, but the way things were prophesied to be. It seems in these last days that God really puts a prime value on faith. Faith outside of big miracles and signs. The signs are great, but we have been looking in the wrong places. Look to the Middle East. Do you know how BIG a deal it is that Israel is back in her land and flourishing in fruit? This is fantastic, specific prophecy to let us know that His coming is SOON. So don't look horizontal at your church or other Christians. No, LOOK UP for our redemption draws near.

there are churches where devils are cast out, where sickness is healed, where addictions are broken. but churches like that are few and far between. not saying your church is wrong or lazy or anything. maybe God has just called them to be something else, not a miracle working church.
I have personally seen miracles happen. but they don't happen every day, and they definitely don't happen in every church. continue seeking the Lord on these things.

i love your question and your enthusiasm. i do not fairly have an answer even if I trust a variety of of what has already been reported. I loved that answer that reported there are in ordinary words 6 pages in the completed e book of Mormon that haven't got connection with God on it. Wow. it really is fantastic. possibly it quite is why i think the Spirit so strongly when I study the e book of Mormon... it facilitates us a lot to "continually undergo in ideas Him"... "the real mild, which lighteth each and every guy that cometh into the international". (John a million:9) ?

Matthew 7:21-23
21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?'
23 Then I will declare to them solemnly, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.'
Casting out Devil, healing, speaking is not what Jesus wants you to do, he wants you to follow the Law (Given to Moses) and the will of God which are 10 commandments.
