Anything not too cheap as long as it is CERAMIC OR TOU
RMALINE...see these products help seal the cuticle, lock out frizz BUT YOU MUST USE a heat protectant on your hair such as Heat Seal by Paul Mitchell. At any bet, a CHI is good, if you don't want to spend that much at least something with a temperature gauge on it. However it is true that the money you spend on a good straightener would be just the same as the 2 or 3 you might buy that give out before a CHI does, see it has a warranty.

The chi is the best, but really any ceramic straightening iron will do. I have one made by CONAIR. i bought it at Wal-Mart for $12 dollars and it gets my hair just about as straight as my friend's who owns a chi. It also depends on the condition of your hair as to whether you need a flat iron with different settings and such. Mine only has one, but you can take that up with a professional.

it's about $28-30... i use the remington: wet2streight, it's the one with the wide plates...also to get a perfect straight separate your hair into different sections and straighten hair by small sections (about 1/2 to 1 inch.) i also have thick curly hair and also frizzy but i always have a nice straight smooth hair many people think its natural lol

so far ive had two one of those conair ones that switches from crimp to straight i threw it out the window actually when i got my new one and it works okay compared to the other one. i heard that all the ones with flat heads no curve on the sides work really good. My friend got hers at ulta and it heat in 30 sec and if it break you can always get a new one. might want that kind?

I don't know if your from around here. My friend has REDICULOUSLY thick hair and it's very curly and frizzy. I definitly and 100 percent recomend "Jilbere." Go online to Sally's Beauty Supplies online or if you live in an area around one, definitly stop by. It works great! Hope it works out for you.

WHAT IS YOUR ETHNIC BACK GROUND THAT COULD GIVE US A FEW POINTERS TO HELP OUT AT THE MOMENT I HAVE A CERAMIC IRON THAT I PULL MY HAIR WITH AND WELL SINCE I GOT TIRED OF MY CURLY HAIR I PUT A RELAXER ON IT AND WELL THAT STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR U MAY NEED A PERM IF YOU ARE NOT BLACK TAKE THE SOLUTION AND COME IT THROUGH YOUR HAIR WITHOUT THE RODS AND THIS WILL STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR WHEN DONE CORRECTLY

yess i have VERY thick hair & its curly too.
My savior is deff. my Chi straightener. I have tried SO many kinds of straighteners & Chi is the ONLY one that works. It is a little expensive but it is fully worth it.
